Why Sotsikom ?
Non-profit Sotsikom aims at actively participating in software solutions and system administration solutions, while offering advising services to other non-profit organisations and various organisations or people. Our mission relies on a double approach: on one side, we look for innovative technical solutions adapted to our partners’ needs, and on the other we commit to favorising initiatives that have a positive impact on society and environment.
Our activities
- Bespoke software solutions development to improve organisations’ information systems, while assuring their accessibility and security
- Setup of information systems adapted to our partner’s specific needs, with a constant care for efficiency and simplicity
- Redaction and publication of technical and analytical reports dealing with themes related to IT, system administration and project management
- Contribution to open source projects, aming at making computer science more accessible and transparent for everyone, independently of resources or level of expertise
About Us
Sotsikom, beyond these technical activities, stands out with its strong commitment for social and environmental causes. We resolutely oppose social inequalities, individual freedoms violations and destruction of our natural environment. We actively support antiracist, feminist, LGBT+, egalitarian, libertarian and ecologist struggles, and we make sure our actions are aligned with these values.

Our vision
- Sotsikom Solidaire: a non-profit branch dedicated to the fulfillment of social and solidarity missions. This branch strives for proposing services of support for projects with a positive impact on communities, without looking for profit.
- Sotsikom Prestations: a lucrative branch that focuses on carrying out professional services in a more structured economical framework. This branch amis at meeting companies or other organisations’ needs in a more classical framework, while respecting our fundamental values.
We deeply believe that technologie and IT can be used to improve life conditions, to promote social justice and to support a transition towards a more sustainable and egalitarian future. Sotsikom thus is an association that combines technical expertise and citizen commitment, in the service of a fairer and more inclusive world.
What’s next ?
When Sotsikom is developed enough, we plan on actively participating in the creation of similar organisations that do not necessarily specialise in IT : social food distribution services, farms, social housing, popular education, culture and research, independent media, etc.
